Koyo sheet
The Koyo sheet of Koyo Materica Corporation has been developed for an easier laminating process in manufacturing. The inner layers of copper foil (less than 35μ thickness), will contribute to improve productivity and product cost. Aluminum has advantages of outstanding thermal conductivity with lightweight and a little larger expansion coefficient than copper foil. Koyo sheet works at best in laminated press processing that does not require strength and rigidity as stainless steel plate.
The advantages when switching from stainless press plates
1. Can reduce the initial cost of stainless press plate.
2. Can double the input of sheet numbers due to the thickness of 0.5 mm.
3. Thermal expansion coefficient of aluminum dramatically reduces wrinkles of ultra-thin copper foil.
4. Can improve the workability because of the lightness of aluminum.
5. Can save energy from high thermal conductivity of aluminum.
6. Aluminum raw materials can be recycled.
